Arles 2026: Worlds to Read Again
From July 6 to October 4, 2026, the Rencontres d’Arles return for their 57th edition, built around the theme “Worlds to Read Again.”
This year’s programme moves through:
• African and Mediterranean narratives
• archives and memory
• emerging photographic scenes
• questions of identity, representation and the living world
Across Arles, exhibitions such as Ghana! Dreaming Independence, Paul Kodjo, Sammy Baloji and Edward Steichen shape a festival that looks at history, territories and new visual languages.
A vivid edition to walk through like an open atlas: look, reread, question, discover.
